1 skein (100g) each two colors fingering weight sock yarn
It is time for our next Knit-Along! Join us on Thursdays, 2/16-3/2 to knit the fabulous Bear Paw Socks by Andrea Mowry.
These super squishy socks knit to a DK weight gauge when you hold 2 strands of fingering weight yarn together to create your own marled fabric!
The socks feature some fun, new techniques such as a Fleegle Heel & Turkish Cast-on. They are knit toe-up on a size US 4 needle & may be knit using 32”-40” long circulars (Magic Loop) or double point needles.
Some fun yarns for the socks include Berroco Vintage Sock, Malabrigo Ultimate Sock, Cascade Heritage, Isager Sock, Lang Yarns Jawoll or get a little wild with the brights of Hedgehog Fibres Sock or Twist Sock.
Materials:
- 1 skein (100g) each of two colors fingering weight sock yarn
- Size US 4 double point or 32”-40” circular needles (for Magic Loop technique)
