Please join us for a day of knitting & fun!
Shannon Dunbabin, the talented designer & owner behind favorite brand Cascade Yarns will be teaching the Cascade Mosaic Knitting Design Workshop on Saturday, June 24 from 3pm-5pm.
Mosaic knitting is a technique where gorgeous color patterns are created in knits using slipped stitches! It is really fun & simple to knit, yet looks intricate.
In this fantastic, complimentary workshop you will experience an introduction to mosaic knitting & learn the general rules, how to read mosaic charts, as well as garter mosaic vs. stockinette.
You will then move on to learn how to design your own mosaic stitch pattern & have an opportunity to swatch your designs!
When you attend the workshop you will receive 2 contrasting colors of Cascade 220, as well as a graph notebook for creating charts.
To attend the workshop we ask that you are able to cast-on, knit, purl & bind-off. Please bring the following materials to the workshop:
- Size US 8 needles
- Pencil or erasable pen
- Tape measure
