We would like to introduce you to our new little knit friends! The new book; Mouche & Friends by Cinthia Vallet, is the most adorable collection of animal knits.
During the month of June we are hosting a complimentary Mouche & Friends Meet & Greet that will then lead into our first Help Along.
The Help Along is our version of a class where we will have plenty of knitting help, but with a relaxed structure so that you can knit at your own pace. We understand everyone has busy schedules, so the Help Along is structured for you. Whether you start a few weeks in or have to miss a week- it is no problem. We will get you started or picking up right where you left off.
Mouche & Friends Meet & Greet
Wednesday, May 31, 5-6:30pm
Join us for the kick-off of our June Help Along. Meet Mouche and his merry group of animal friends! During this entertaining evening, our staff will introduce you to each knit animal in a fun way & talk about what yarn & needles you will need. Have fun shopping for yarn to knit your new little friend after the Meet & Greet.
Mouche & Friends Help Along
Wednesdays, June 7-28 , 5-6:30pm
Come to one, come to them all! During this 4 week Help Along, our knowledgeable staff will be with you every step of the way as you knit Mouche or one of his friends at your own pace. Learn and/or have a chance to use the following techniques: picking up stitches, short rows & working with small needles (US 0).
*Prerequisite: to make the Help Along more enjoyable, it is ideal to already have the following skills: casting-on, increases & decreases, working with double point needles (or preferred method of small circumference knitting such as Magic Loop).
