New Upcoming Complimentary Workshops

Please join us for a day of knitting & fun! On Saturday, January 21 we are hosting two complimentary workshops.
Both workshops will be taught by Shannon Dunbabin, the talented designer & owner behind favorite brand Cascade Yarns.
Workshop #1
Cascade Design Your Own Gansey Poncho, Wrap or Blanket Workshop, 1/21: 10am-12pm
In the first workshop you will learn how to go from a swatch to create your own Gansey Sampler Poncho, Wrap or Blanket in Cascade 220 Grande. The complimentary workshop will include swatching yarn, a template & stitch patterns. This is a great step into knitting design with the completely customizable piece.
To attend the workshop we ask that you are able to cast-on, knit, purl & bind-off. Here are the required materials you will need:
- US 10 or 10.5 needles
- Tape measure
- Pen or pencil
Workshop #2
Cascade Yarn Tasting Experience, 1/21: 2pm-4pm
The second workshop is a wonderful knitting experience where you will have the opportunity to swatch with an assortment of Cascade yarns. Spend the afternoon relaxing & knitting while Shannon speaks to the fiber & construction of each yarn. Learn what types of knits each yarn is appropriate for & have an opportunity to see what stitches look best with each yarn.
The complimentary workshop will include various yarns to swatch including 128 Superwash, 220 Superwash Wave, Alpaca Lace, Cantata, Bluefaced Leicester, ReFine & Ultra Pima to name a few.
To attend the workshop we ask that you are able to cast-on, knit, purl & bind-off. Here are the required materials you will need:
- A wide assortment of needle sizes from US 3-US 15 (you will have the opportunity to swatch lace weight yarns up to super bulky weight)
- Pen or pencil
