Knit in Malabrigo Rasta, the eggs knit up quickly on size US 11 double point needles. With over 80 solid, tonal & variegated colorways, the combinations are endless. Mix it up like designer Kristel did with a variegated colorway punctuated by solid stripes or play with color stories such as a pastel or neon theme.
Each egg requires 46-50 yards of Malabrigo Rasta or a favorite super bulky weight yarn. We also love the colorways of Manos del Uruguay Franca & Hedgehog Fibres Super Bulky for the eggs.
Materials:
- 46-50 yards Malabrigo Rasta or super bulky weight yarn (each egg)
- Size US 11, double point needles (one of the pattern options, Amiga, requires a size US 15 needle)
- Stuffing
- Each egg measures 12.5” in circumference & 8” in height (the pattern is simple to make larger or smaller)
