So many of our favorite patterns start with Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light! The soft, decadent base of Merino wool hand-dyed in over 150 interesting & unique colorways makes this yarn a temptation worth indulging.
There were many to choose from, but here are a few of our favorite patterns perfect for TML.
Constellate Hat by Hunter Hammersen: 1 skein Tosh Merino Light, size US 3, 16” circular needle & double point needles (or size to achieve gauge). Photo sample in color Calligraphy.
Julie’s Wrap by Joji Locatelli: 4 skeins Tosh Merino Light, size 6, US 24” & 40” circular needles. Photo sample in color Scratched Record
Laurelie by Lisa Hannes: 2 skeins Tosh Merino Light, one skein each in two contrasting or complimentary colors, size US 4 & 5, 32” circular needles
Breathing Space by Veera Välimäki: 4-7 skeins Tosh Merino Light, 3-5 skeins main color (based on size chosen), 1-2 skeins contrast color (based on size chosen), US 2.5 & 4, 32” circular needles, US 2.5 & 4, double point needles
Gold Dust by Lisa Hannes: 1-2 skeins Tosh Merino Light (may need second skeins depending on gauge), size US 6, 32” circular needle
