With the cool winds of Autumn comes a gorgeous new collection of kits & patterns from the Blue Sky Fibers design team.
There is truly a piece for every knitter, as well as some wonderful gift ideas. Each of the knits showcased are available as a convenient kit that includes the yarn & printed pattern or purchase the pattern & choose your own color combination from the Blue Sky palette.
The 27 Color Snood by Bobbi IntVeld is an attractive knit that may be worn as a capelet or generous cowl. This is a fun, relaxing knit that combines simple stockinette with stripes of different colors. The stripes are knit with cute mini skeins to minimize yarn waste.
Stay warm with the fashion forward Marion Wrap by Megan Gonzalez. Knit in soft, yet warm Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok Worsted, the wrap combines simple shaping with pops of color for a piece that is anything but ordinary.
Soft, warm & airy, the Issaquah Cowl by Michael Vloedman is a delight to knit & wear. This gorgeous, marled, ombre cowl is knit holding 2 yarns together on quick knitting size US 13 needles. The simple rib allows the color fade & marl to take center stage, as well as making the cowl a relaxing knit.
A mélange of textured stitches & colors await with the gorgeous Persimmon Wrap by Alyssa Rasmussen. The wrap is knit flat, then seamed along a side portion so the wrap stays in place. With different sections of color & texture, the wrap may be worn with either side facing for a fresh look.
Happy Knitting!
