Which will you choose: Light or Dark? Harrisville Designs Nightshades & Daylights has a hue for every mood...
These two knitting gems are unique & amazing woolen-spun yarns spun with U.S. sourced Cormo & blended wool. Light & airy, yet very warm, the DK weight yarns are exceptional for knit sweaters, cardigans & accessories. The yarn will hold shape & wear very well. Each Nightshades colorway is a shade of black, marbled with a hint of color. Daylights colorways are a shade of natural, marbled with a hint of color.
Since 1794, woolen yarn has been spun in the historic town of Harrisville, New Hampshire. Harrisville Designs has followed in the footsteps of the generations of artisans before them by spinning beautiful yarns for over 50 years. All Harrisville Designs yarns are spun & dyed in Harrisville, NH using 100% U.S. sourced wool.
We absolutely love these designs by talented designers Sarah Solomon & Andrea Mowry!
Hawley by Sarah Solomon is a stunning stranded colorwork pullover that uses both Nightshades & Daylights. The loose, swingy silhouette is fun to wear & even more fun to knit. The piece features a two color motif & is knit top down, in the round.
Ginny by Andrea Mowry is a perennial favorite that shows off Nightshades color Last Call beautifully. The cardigan features a dramatic shawl collar & attractive knit belt.
The Carr Hat by Sarah Solomon is a fashion forward, cabled hat that may be knit as a beanie or folded brim watch cap. The hat is knit in the round & showcases Daylights to help accentuate the cables.
Happy Knitting!
