Feature Pattern of the Week - Plucky Knitter Has Arrived

Spring Fever by Amy Miller, Plucky Knitter Primo Fingering,
colors Fancy Free, Joe Banks, Miss Manners, High Cotton, Tomboy,
CC Bloom, Early Light and Ogre

Plucky Knitter has arrived & we are excited to announce that we are a new destination for the lovely yarns!

Hand dyed in Michigan, Plucky Knitter’s mission is to delight fiber artists with an inspiring palette of extraordinary colorways. With over 15 years of dyeing experience, the team of artisans excel in bringing an incredible number of colors to life. The brand is known for saturated, wearable tonals on luxury yarn bases that bring gorgeous depth to knits.

To begin, we have brought in 4 bases in 40 colors each. The yarns are simply lovely to knit & wear. The bases include Plucky Feet, Primo Fingering, Primo DK & Primo Worsted.

The Spring Fever Wrap by Amy Miller is deliciously simple & stylish. Fantastically wearable, the wrap features stockinette color block stripes with a garter selvedge border. The 8 color combination is really what makes this piece though.

Knit in Plucky Knitter Primo Fingering, a blend of soft, superwash Merino wool, cashmere & nylon, the yarn has crisp stitch definition & a fine, smooth gauge.

To knit the wrap, you will need the following:

  • 1 skein each of 8 colors of Plucky Knitter Primo Fingering (sample in Fancy Free, Joe Banks, Miss Manners, High Cotton, Tomboy, CC Bloom, Early Light, Ogre)
  • Size US 6 & 8, 32” circular needles (or size to achieve gauge)
  • Finshed wrap measures 30” wide x 82” long

Shop the new Plucky Knitter display in our brick & mortar shop or visit woolandcompany.com. We are happy to offer free domestic U.S. shipping, as well as complimentary ball winding.
