Feature Pattern of the Week - Summer Splash
- Posted on
Campana by Alison Green, New Berroco Splash, color 2411 Key West
So we might have a bit of spring fever...but now is a great time to start knitting fun, relaxed pieces that can transition into the warmer summer months.
One of our new yarns for spring is Berroco Splash; a lightweight blend of viscose & organic cotton. The DK weight yarn has a chain construction to ensure knits hold their shape, while delivering crisp stitch definition.
Pops of color in the yarn create a modern look with interesting visual depth. It is a lovely yarn for cardigans, resorty pullovers, tank, tees & summery scarves or wraps.
Campana by Alison Green is a comfortable tee, knit top down, in the round with a simply textured yoke for added interest. The top is designed to be worn with 2”-4” of positive ease & the pattern includes a wide range of sizes for the perfect fit.
Materials:
Finished bust: (32, 35½, 39¾, 43¼) 47¼, 51½, 55 (59¼, 62½, 66¾, 70¼)“
(6, 7, 7, 8) 8, 9, 10 (11, 11, 12, 13) skeins of Berroco Splash
Size US 5 & 6, 16” & 32” circular needles + US 5 double point needles
Two of our other favorite knits from the collection include Comillas by Margaux Hufnagel & Malta by Åsa Buchta. Comillas is a stylish, cowl neck tank top that can be worn alone or under a favorite cardigan. Malta is a cute, short sleeve, cropped, button-down top that looks summer fabulous with a long skirt.
Happy Knitting!
