Feature Pattern of the Week - Sun and Soul Wrap

Sun & Soul Wrap by Tif Neilan,
Spun Right Round Classic Sock

Break out the fingering weight yarn to knit the Sun & Soul Wrap by Tif Neilan. Based in New England, Tif strives to create knitwear with an emphasis on fun textures and/or color play.

Relaxing & interesting to knit, the wrap invloves holding 2 strands of fingering weight yarn together. This creates a marled fabric that transitions smoothly through color changes & knits into a lovely DK weight fabric.

Knit on size US 8, 32” needles, the pattern is a “kite” construction that begins with a handful of stitches. The design is a combination of garter stitch & slipped-stitch ribbing sections. And of course the wrap is finished with fantastic tassels.

The wrap provides an opportunity to really have fun with color, whether you go more muted or bright...it all works! Tif knit her sample in 4 colors of Spun Right Round Classic Sock. The sky is the limit, but some fun choices also include:

Here is the yardage of each color you will need:
