The Fibre Co. Canopy Fingering, color Quetzal
Swinside is a swingy & comfy pullover with flattering garter panels at the hem & sleeves. The pattern may be knit in The Fibre Co. Canopy Fingering for a sweater with elegance & drape or The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering for a cozy, fall/winter option.
The pullover is knit top-down, using a clever, modular construction.
To knit the Swinside Pullover, you will need the following materials:
NEEDLES
Canopy Fingering Option:
- Size US 2 & 4, 32” circular needles
- Size US 2 & 4 double point needles (or preferred method for small circumference knitting)
Cumbria Fingering Option:
- Size US 2.5 & 5, 32” circular needles
- Size US 2.5 & 5 double point needles (or preferred method for small circumference knitting)
YARN
The Fibre Co. Canopy Fingering (50% baby alpaca, 30% merino wool, 20% bamboo) 6 (6: 6: 7: 8: 8: 9: 9) skeins
*Tip- we recommend alternating hanks as you work to give an overall blended appearance.
OR
The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering (60% merino wool, 30% masham wool, 10% mohair)
4 (4: 4: 5: 5: 5: 6: 6) skeins
SIZING
The given sizes are called Sizes 1-8 and are recommended to fit a chest circumference of 34-36, 38-40, 42-44, 46-48, 50-52, 54-56, 58-60 inches.
- Model wears a Size 3
- Designed with 30.25 - 31.5 inches of positive ease at bust circumference
- Finished Bust Circumference (at underarm): 63 (66.25, 69.75, 73.5, 78, 82, 85.5, 89.5) inches
