Feature Pattern of the Week - Woolly Wee Sheep
- Posted on
Just in time for the holidays: Woolly Wee Sheep by Churchmouse! These cuties are lovely “grazing” on a mantel or adorning the family Christmas tree.
*Woolly Wee Sheep, knit either out of fingering or DK weight yarn
The pattern includes knitting instructions for fingering weight (3” tall x 4” long) & DK weight (4” tall x 5” long) versions. We are looking forward to knitting our own little flock.
The materials needed are as follows:
Fingering weight version
- 1 skein each of two colors fingering weight yarn. We like Rauma Finullgarn (makes approx. 8 sheep) or Brooklyn Tweed Loft (makes approx. 12 sheep)
- Size US 0 & 1.5 double point needles (or size to obtain gauge)
DK weight version
- 1 skein each of two colors DK weight yarn. We like Berroco Ultra Wool DK (makes approx. 10 sheep), Brooklyn Tweed Loft held double (makes approx. 6 sheep), or Berroco Ultra Alpaca Light (makes approx. 5 sheep)
- Size US 1 & 3 double point needles (or size to obtain gauge)
This pattern is available to purchase in store or on Ravelry.

Happy Knitting!
