Feature Pattern of the Week - Worthington

Worthington by Nancy Ekvall
Blue Sky Fibers Organic Cotton & Printed Organic Cotton,
colors Graphite & Jack Frost

Introducing the Worthington Wrap, a wonderful all season piece knit in velvety soft Blue Sky Fibers Organic Cotton. Knit with only two colors, the marled, speckled & solid stripes are achieved by holding one strand of a solid color with one strand of dappled Printed Organic Cotton. Simple stockinette shines, while the yarn creates the look of texture.

If you have yet to try Blue Sky Fibers Organic Cotton it is truly a treat & unlike many other 100% cotton yarns. This worsted weight yarn has a brushed feel making it as soft as a favorite t-shirt. It is loosely plied & remarkably light and airy, so wraps & garments do not feel heavy.

The Worthington is truly a piece for all climates across the country. To knit the wrap you will need the following:

3 skeins Blue Sky Fibers Organic Cotton (solid)

4 skeins Blue Sky Fibers Printed Organic Cotton (dappled)

Size US 15, 24” circular needles (knit flat, 18” max width)

Go with gorgeous grey or choose another combination from 38 solids & 8 prints. Enjoy the pattern complimentary when you purchase the minimum quantity of Blue Sky Organic Cotton/ Printed Organic Cotton for the project.

Happy Knitting!
