- Posted on
Two looks, one pattern! From the extensive pattern library of Brooklyn Tweed, Scalene by Nadia Crétin-Léchenne is our feature pattern of the week. The Scalene Shawl is ultra-wearable with a classic, timeless design. The pattern includes instructions for knitting the shawl out of Loft (fingering weight yarn) for a bit of warmth or Vale (lace weight yarn) for a springy, light as air knit; reminding you that Spring is on the way!
**Left Photo shown in Loft, Color Flannel
**Right Photo shown in Plains (Replaced by Vale), Color Junco
Perfect in Brooklyn Tweed Loft or Vale, the shawl would also be gorgeous in Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light, Malabrigo Sock, Malabrigo Mechita, or Shibui Cima.
The pattern requires 1,115 yards of lace weight yarn or 1,150 yards of fingering weight yarn, US 4, 32” circular needle, stitch markers, darning needle.

The pattern is available to purchase in store or on Ravelry.
