Inspired by gorgeous woven plaid fabric, the Wonderland Scarf by designer Chloe Thurlow is a light, airy knit plaid! This ingenious scarf is knit seamlessly using the intarsia technique to create blocks of color. When finished, the contrasting color yarn is used to create the thin contrast lines using a duplicate stitch. Fringe is added at the end with a crochet hook.
The scarf is knit holding two strands of Rowan Kidsilk Haze together to create a light, but plush fabric. Kidsilk Haze is a luscious blend of super kid mohair & silk that has a lovely sheen & halo.
The project bundle includes the yarn for the Wonderland Scarf, as well as Rowan Magazine 72. The Magazine features over 30 patterns by Martin Storey, Lisa Richardson, Kaffe Fassett, Brandon Mably, Georgia Farrell, Erika Knight, Quail Studio, Chloe Thurlow as well as many other designers.
Magazine 72 includes the following fashion stories: Kidsilk Haze Celebration, Beyond the Halo & Texture in Nature.
