Photographed on a beach in Rock-A-Nore, Hastings, England, this collection of 4 knitting patterns by Erika Knight is a nod to the hardworking lifestyle of the fisherman on the South Coast, as well as the sheep farmers in the Falklands archipelago.
Each of the 4 patterns are knit in Rowan Pebble Island, a lovely yarn sourced from sheep living on Pebble Island located in the Falklands. Pebble Island is a place where sheep roam the landscape & agate stones dot the shoreline. The Pebble Island based herd of Polwarth Merino sheep produce velvety soft, 21.5 micron wool.
The collection features a stranded colorwork scarf & hat, as well as a lovely cardigan & striped pullover. The pattern booklet includes color photography & well-written knitting instructions.
